2017

Foundation

Grace Welcome Center begins serving breakfasts to 6 guests with 4 volunteers as a ministry of a local church.
2019

Food Pantry Launch

Responding to community needs GWC expanded services to include a weekly food pantry.
2021

Infrastructure Growth

Installation of walk-in cooler and freezer systems, significantly expanding food storage capacity and distribution capabilities.
2023

Community Impact

Achieved milestone of over 10,000 pantry visits, 6,000 breakfasts meals, and 600 showers.
2024

Path to Independence

GWC approved to pursue independent nonprofit status to expand services and community impact

Kenosha Welcome Center Established

Officially incorporated as Kenosha Welcome Center, continuing its mission as an independent nonprofit organization.
